SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (Req 25 062)

Department: Program Management Contract
Location: California, MD

Responsibilities: Performs analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of:

  1. Theory and principles
  2. Financial and management organization, operations, and practices
  3. Pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions
  4. Related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles.

Develops and analyzes impacts of budget marks. Assists with development of appropriate acquisition documentation regarding financial interest items.

Education: BS or BA degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in Business or Finance.

Experience: At least four (4) years DoD financial management experience in a NAVAIR contract environment. Financial management experience must include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); experience with contracts, modifications, funding, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs); experience with developing contract and financial briefs; and experience interacting with Government Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) is required.

Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
