ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (Req 25 069)

Department: Program Management Contract
Location: St. Inigoes, MD

Responsibilities: Apply engineering techniques, principles and precedents to disassemble, evaluate for refurbishment, reassemble, physically and electrically align, and test Antennas and Radio Frequency (RF) systems IAW Antenna Range SOP drawings and specifications. Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information. Plan and perform test and evaluation of system equipment or components. Compile, process, reduce, and analyze test data results.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Ideal candidate would be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.

Experience: Experience in performing engineering technician functions. Prefer experience operating RF test equipment, building/testing RF components, troubleshooting RF Systems, designing/troubleshooting electrical circuits and designing/building/troubleshooting printed circuit boards. Must have or obtain solder certification.

Other: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is preferred.

Wage Range Information: This full-time position’s wage range is $55K - $70K (salary) depending on experience and qualifications.
