Responsibilities: Perform complex and non-routine technical assignments involving the planning and execution of Combat Identification projects. Apply advanced technical knowledge to design, develop, test, and evaluate equipment or systems, while adapting established plans, techniques, and layouts to meet project objectives. Independently execute technical tasks aligned with outlined objectives, requirements, and design approaches. Coordinate with personnel in related functional areas to resolve technical challenges, ensure alignment of activities, and integrate the work of other technical staff.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of relevant engineering technician experience supporting engineering design, development, testing, or technical analysis activities for the DoD. Demonstrated experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and schematics. Experience using engineering instrumentation, test equipment, and diagnostic tools. Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering support materials.
Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Wage Range Information: This full-time position’s wage is $43.61 (hourly) depending on experience and qualifications.
