Department: Program Management Contract
Location: Crystal City, VA

Responsibilities: The media developer will develop communication products for dissemination across the Joint Program Office communications platforms. These products include e-newsletters, articles, and presentations.  Responsible for creating graphics and formats to be used in e-newsletters, articles and presentations. Takes direction well with the ability to work independently. Required to organize material for project development to include planning, outline and synopsis drafting.  Collaborates with other developers and JPO staff on specific projects.

Education:  BS/BA from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Sciences or related IT discipline.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of directly applicable experience in producing audio and visual aids in support of program briefs and user interface requirements. Minimum of five (5) years of directly applicable experience as a videographer and photographer. Capabilities include editing videos and burning to a DVD with navigable menu for set-top DVD players. Demonstrated experience analyzing user requirements and delivering whole system solutions, including hand-on experience gathering requestor inputs and creating concepts in a clear and concise manner for the non-technical viewer. The designs are often required to provide final products for high-level program briefs. The developer should be capable of supporting large formats as well as mass duplication printing and binding if requested. Demonstrated experience in applying knowledge of documentation content and format standards to prepare, edit, and publish graphical user notifications or other publications.

Other: Demonstrated experience utilizing professional level design applications such as; Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Encore, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Avery Label Creator, MS Office Standards, Prassi PrimoDVD, Roxio CD/DVD Creator, and Sonic Foundry’s Sound Forge. IAT Level II certification in IA in accordance with DoD 8570.01M “Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program” (or achieve within six months after TOA). An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
