SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST (Req 18 158)

Department: Program Management Contract
Location: St. Inigoes, MD

Responsibilities: Serve as analyst and developer for an existing Microsoft Access database. Assist with ongoing maintenance, future enhancements, and potential migration to COTS solution. Full lifecycle development including requirements analysis, system design and architecture, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, documentation, and training. Interface with the customer; review objectives; assess functional needs; propose and defend logical and creative solutions; translate acceptable solutions into technical designs; and develop, document, and train users to use solutions. Analyze tradeoffs between usability, performance; and constraints. Participate in working meetings to demonstrate and review progress, and identify and prioritize next steps.  

Education: Bachelor's or Associates degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field preferred.  

Experience: Experience in the analysis, design and development of business applications/information systems. Experience with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in the Microsoft Office environment required. Must be proactive and a logical thinker. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface with key stakeholders effectively are essential. Ability to work well both alone and in a team environment.

Other: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
